All aboard! After the signing of the last sub-grant agreements with third parties, the CLIMAAX consortium is proud to announce that all the 32 Regions selected by the first Open Call successfully started the execution of their own Climate Risk Assessment. To celebrate this first but considerable step toward a more climate-ready Europe, the consortium invites the representatives of each region to three “get to know” meetings.

The meetings will take place on Monday mornings, on the 2nd, 9th and 16th of December from 9:30 to 13:00 CET. Representatives of the Regions have received a personal invitation via email and are supposed to join at least one of the events. The format foresees 10 minutes per Region (about 7 minutes for presentation and a few minutes for questions) in which Regions should pick out a few points:

• Short intro on your profile and the profile of your technical partner if applicable
• Decision context: what is the context/regional background of your proposed risk assessment?
• Problem description: what will you analyze, and which hazards will you consider? With which hazard will you start?
• Which impact metrics are relevant for you?
• Usability of the results: what are the expected outcomes of the project and to whom will they be of use?
