Workshop – CLIMAAX research and possible links with IPCC work
Join us for an engaging two-hour workshop showcasing the recent advances and bottle necks in regional climate risk assessments! Representatives from IPCC, Latvias Environmental, Geological and Meteorological Center (LVGMC) and CLIMAAX project will provide their insights on latest developments in climate risk science, urban adaptation challenges as well as methods and processes for building resilience.
The event will be moderated by Zinta Zommers (IPCC) and will take place on Wednesday evening 17th of April from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference. All times are in Latvian time zone (EEST). Upon registration, there is a possibility to follow via Zoom the event.

Reinhard Mechler (IIASA), Dace Zandersone, Bart van den Hurk, Matthias Garschagen and Anna Pirani (CMCC – online) will hold an interactive discussion on challenges and opportunities in addressing Regional Climate Risks.
